MIDIKalimba has been completely redesigned. It's larger - accommodating two more pads making 11 notes rather than the previous 9, plus extra touch pads for starting / stopping the looper. A video introducing the new version is embedded below.

MIDIKalimba is a MIDI controller played like a kalimba with fingers or thumbs on touch-sensitive pads and can output:

You can set any scale/mode, octave and root note, for example C6 Mixolydian or G4 Minor Pentatonic, and then you'll be able to effortlessly play the notes in that scale and key.

It features velocity-sensitivity for expressive playing.

FAQs

Does it have audio out?

At present, MIDIKalimba is a MIDI controller only. There are some good solutions for a potable audio module, I us an MT32Pi here and use my phone here. See the playlist below.
