MIDIPan

Play like a tongue drum / handpan, expressive MIDI out

MIDIPan is a MIDI controller played like a tongue drum with fingers or thumbs on 13 touch-sensitive pads. (12 notes - the root note is duplicated on the centre pad). It is portable - 6 inches in diameter and less than an inch thick. It can output:

• MIDI over USB (now USB-C)
• MIDI over TRS (can give MIDI over 5-pin DIN with a suitable adaptor)
• Optional audio out with a range of instrument sounds

You can set any scale/mode, octave and root note, for example C6 Mixolydian or G4 Minor Pentatonic, and then you'll be able to effortlessly play the notes in that scale and key.

It features velocity-sensitivity for expressive playing and a built-in looper.
